These terms govern your use of the Durus app. By downloading or using Durus, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Durus is not a medical service and does not provide medical advice. The workouts, programs, and recommended weights are general fitness information, generated automatically, and are not tailored to your individual health, injuries, or conditions. Consult a physician before beginning any exercise program, especially if you have an injury, illness, or health concern, are pregnant, or have not exercised recently.
Recommended weights and progressions are estimates. Always use your own judgment, warm up, use proper form, and stop immediately if you feel pain, dizziness, or discomfort. You exercise at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your use of the app or from performing any exercise it suggests.
When you purchase Durus, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app and its training content on devices you own or control, for as long as the app remains available. This is a one-time purchase; there is no subscription. The license is for your personal use and may not be resold, redistributed, or used to operate a competing service.
The app, its programming logic, text, exercise demonstrations, artwork, and design are owned by the developer and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may not copy, extract, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the app or its content except as allowed by the app store's standard license terms.
Your training data is stored on your device and, if you choose, in your own cloud account. You are responsible for backing up your data. Because the developer does not host your data, the developer cannot recover it if it is lost, for example by deleting the app without a backup or losing your device. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Use Durus only for lawful, personal fitness purposes. Do not attempt to disrupt, exploit, or misuse the app.
The developer may update the app from time to time and may add, change, or remove features. The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. The developer does not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer's total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it. The developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
